"Thus far my artistic style has developed into self-directed projects often embracing the unplanned, exemplifying reaction to material, and using a surface display raw unedited expressions. My work has gone away from prototyping and planning, embracing what happens-- celebrating each mark made. My work taps into an emotional base through layers and whimsical, yet sometimes dark, creatures."

Growing up in Missoula, Montana, Emma wants to live in a world where people freely express their identities without fear and can openly talk about mental health issues.
Aside from her work as a contemporary artist, Emma is a freelance graphic designer and marketing consultant, mostly aiding small independent businesses and nonprofits.
Emma is a creative problem solver with experience across all mediums. She has a passion for elevating brands through great visual design and is always looking towards the future. She delights in finding imaginative solutions for complex problems and moving ideas from good to great.
